Saturn Calendar

Saturn Calendar is a productivity app designed to help users manage their personal schedules and coordinate plans with others. It enables individuals to view their classes, events, and to-dos in one place, with the option to connect a Google Calendar to consolidate existing schedules. A key feature of the app is its focus on social planning, allowing users to compare schedules with friends without needing to exchange email addresses, making it easier to find mutually free times and organize activities together.

Managing Your Personal Schedule

Saturn Calendar offers tools for personal time management, allowing users to keep track of their daily commitments at a glance. You can integrate your Google Calendar accounts directly into the app, bringing all your scheduled events into a unified view. The app also supports tracking homework and other daily tasks by adding to-dos with specific due dates. Recently, an update introduced the display of to-dos without a due date in today’s calendar header, providing a clearer overview of pending items.

Coordinating with Friends and Groups

Beyond individual scheduling, Saturn Calendar facilitates social coordination. Users can see their friends’ availability and compare schedules directly within the app, simplifying the process of finding shared free time to make plans. For collaborative efforts or group activities, the app supports the creation of shared calendars. These can be used for various purposes, such as planning a trip, managing household tasks, or organizing events for a club or team, allowing users to add events and invite others to keep everyone informed and on the same page. Updates have improved the reliability of shared calendar updates when a user follows or leaves them.

Specialized Features for Students and Snapchat Users

The app includes features tailored for specific user groups. Students can utilize Saturn Calendar to follow their school’s bell schedule, accommodating various formats like rotating periods, block schedules, A/B days, and lunch waves. It allows students to add their classes and see what’s currently happening and what’s next on their academic agenda, extending its utility to college for managing classes, assignments, and other plans. For Snapchat users, the app offers integration to connect Snapchat, find friends on Saturn, and bring their Bitmoji into their profile. This integration also allows users to see friends’ birthdays alongside their personal plans directly within the calendar.
